Violin has commenced and we’ve even done our first bit of practice. Challenging for me as teacher and mum but I am learning so much. I can see lots of rewards are going to be required 🙂 First video to follow shortly.

Welcome back to Music 4 Mini Maestros Colourstrings Classes!
Great to see you all again and what a great start to the year.Â
One of my favourite stages of development here at Music 4Â Mini Maestros
is when our wee 2 – 3 year olds graduate into the 3 – 4 year old class.Â
What a great group we have this year:Â
I’m really excited to be working with you all!Â
Mums: here are some of the songs and rhymes we worked on today because I know you are going to be feeling left out:Â
Caterpillar crawling round (ss mm ss m)
Trying not to make a sound (ss mm ss m)
Comes a blackbird from the sky (ss mm ss m)
Caterpillar say goodbye (sf mr dd d )
Hope you can decipher the solfa
Here’s a rhyme: Hush little babyÂ
The suns in the West
The sheep in the meadowÂ
Have lain down to rest
Starlight star bright
First star I see tonight
Wish I may
Wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight
Â
The Wedding of the Grasshopper
That fits me just fine thank you!
Â
Teeny weeny 1/8 sized violins waiting to be nurtured and loved 🙂
